Ext. establishing shot of Northolt(the hood)

Medium to long shots are taken of Northolt in montage form to generate establishing shots of Northolt. Iconic places like Northala Fields, the A40 motor way, Northolt station, clock tower and surrounding estates like race course and Islip Manour will used to set the tone for the trailer. Non-diegetic music will be used to fill the montage scenes and could potentially play as back ground noise over the voice over narration. 

Protagonist (voice over - diegetic)

Dear Lord,(fade in)please forgive us for all the sins we have brought upon us,(fade to black)

A POV shot follows a moving Police car with sirens on driving at high speed. The scene would be set at night so the use of street lights would be used to generate top down lighting. As the car drives past, the camera would turn to an over the shoulder shot of a male wearing a hoodie looking on as the car drives past. Diegetic sound of the sirens will be used to show elements of crime will be displayed throughout the trailer. 

 (fade in)and look down upon us with forgiveness for all the sins we will have(fade to black)in the future. 

The camera will be looking down on a group of boys crowding around on the shop corner. The boys will being wearing tracksuits and puffer jackets to generate stereotypes linked to youth that live in urban areas.

(fade in)I know you understand we ain't perfect,(fade to black)

Close up on the protagonists face screwed up to show his emotional state. He has is hands on his head to show he's drowning in his emotions. This could potentially make the audience feel sympathetic towards his situation which they are yet to uncover - enigma code. 

 (fade in)but we try Lord.(fade to black)

Mid-close up of protagonist kissing his baby sister. The camera will the shot reverse/shot on her face. This will be used to show the audience his caring nature towards his loved ones.

(fade in)Show us the way. And if you can't show us the way,(fade to black) 

Medium close-up on Best friend crying while putting on gloves. This scene would be put in slow motion to heighten the the intensity of the drama.

Medium long shot of protagonist and best friend walking down an estate laughing with each other.

camera pans around rectory park capturing the estate, the county football club and a large tower block. This will be down to show how different aspects of (the hood) and how different life styles build a community. 
(fade in)at life in the hood(fade out)

low angle shot of someone less fortunate asking for money. This will be used to show different social classes that live within the area. 

Fades to opening scene of main character closing his flat door before going to football practice. 

EXT. Boys walking down the estate talking about hood politics
